In compliance with EPA regulations requiring fluorescent light bulbs and computer components to be recycled, Mack-Cali has set up a recycling program. Items are now required to be disposed of in special drums on-site that will be picked up by a recycling company.
Fluorescent Light Bulbs -- Recycling is included in regular light bulb maintenance performed by Mack-Cali building engineers. There may be a slight increase in the cost of bulb maintenance to reflect the recycling charge. Tenants performing their own light bulb maintenance should use drums provided by property management to dispose of the light bulbs. Please contact your property manager for the location of drums and to discuss any associated costs.
Computer Components -- Monitors, CPUs, keyboards and other computer components and accessories should be placed beside the on-site drums for recycling pick-up.
Fluorescent light bulbs and computer components are not permitted to be disposed as normal office waste. Violators are subject to penalties according to government regulations.
